    Default Eastern NC Specklers

Hey guys and girls! Just putting a feeler out to see who's fishing in the area. I regularly fish the tributaries and rivers off of the Albemarle Sound including the Chowan, Pasquatank, Perquimans, Roanoke, North, Little Rivers etc...

I was wondering if any of my fellow eastern fisher people were members here on this forum. It would be cool to trade notes.

    And Go.....

Specks, White perch, Rock(in season), Catfish, Largemouth on occasion. I adjust techniques as the seasons change. Really whatever is the best at a given time.
I also enjoy the saltwater thing. Inshore and offshore.

You're calling a crappie a speck, right? I think of a speck, especially down your way as a speckled trout.

Im guilty! !! Those are definitely the areas that I like to fish. Probably have seen you around! I fish in a 21' Carolina Skiff. I mainly fish for Speckles but also chase the white perch, flounder and trout in the summer and I go after the yellow perch as a bonus in the winter! Welcome to the site there is ALOT of good guys on here!

Thanks! I probably have seen ya. My small boat is a 17ft sea pro bay boat. That is the boat i play in around those areas. It is named "Flossie."
Ck me out if ya see me around. For the next little while i will primarily be fishing in the chowan due to the deep water cover i have in place. They have been producing pretty well
