Are the AJ pretty clean around here? In the gulf they are full of worms from about mid fish back to the tail.

The AJs are hit and miss. They all have worms. We did keep 2 AJs over 40lbs one day for the charter. 1 fish had a pile of meat that was clean, and the other was pretty poor quality but enough for a few ziplock bags.
The Lionfish was killed and released!

Yessir. Marry Lee Jr was a little camera shy. after seeing what it was and moments after the pic, drag was locked down to 100+ lbs and that 80lb line broke like it was nothing.
Surprising enough, the Shark did not fight nowhere near as hard as i would have expected.
