went out to Lake Nimrod on Saturday to enjoy the lake and try and catch a few fish. Decided to give "PUSHING" Bandits and Arkie's a try. Love the new color schemes and patterns available now from Arkie in the new line of crappie cranks. The bite was fantastic for the first couple of hours. Fish seemed to be a more scattered than normal but you would run through a school and catch maybe 4 or five at a time. Great fun and a good change of pace from chasing down brush piles and single poling. Kept 30 fish over 14" and lost count at over 90 fish boated by 3pm. Great Fun. Pushing the cranks was much easier than pulling. Just tie on a 3-way swivel to main line, a 18" tag on one end for the crank bait and then tie a 24'-36" leader to the bottom of the three way swivel. If you use a 1.5oz sinker on bottom you can troll at .8-1.2mph and still keep bait down to about 10-12 feet. It was a beautiful day and Praise God for the creation He gave us to enjoy!!!!!!!!!!
