I fished the Harrison Bay area from 6-10am. It got hot fast today. The water temp ranged from 77-84F. This was my first time pulling hard body baits for crappie and my first time out since April. I trolled four rods with shad raps over creek channels and deep flats and caught 5 crappie (4 keepers), 4 bass, and a shellcracker. I can't imagine what it was thinking because it was not much bigger than the lure.
Chickamauga Lake rarely disappoints and I am lucky to live so near to this great fishery.
