Thread: Another Good Day

Well, we only managed an 8th place finish for today, but Jerry and I did come in 3rd overall with a 14 fish catch of 28.02. I bet we caught 300 keeper sized fish the last 4 days (All Released). Our fish had moved some today and we couldn't locate the bigger fish until 1:00. Had to quit at 2. If we only had found them at noon it might have been different, but who knows. That's fishing!!!

Congratulations for a GREAT finish Bill and Jerry! You guys were totally on and in the zone this weekend. Great job figuring those big girls out and sticking with the plan! Needless to say, the competition was extra tough this time around with 34 teams qualified to fish the MCC club championship for a total of $48,000 in prize money! My hat is off to you......way to go guys!

Thanks Steve (Luvpt) we definitely had a great tournament thanks to our " MINNER CRITTERS " and SOUTHERN PRO TACKLE.... THEIR WAS A COUPLE PRACTICE DAYS WE REALLY DIDN'T WANT TO CATCH ANOTHER FISH IT WAS UNREAL . GRENADA LAKE HAS BEEN GOOD TO BILL AND I WE HAVE HAD SOME GREAT TRIPS THERE AND HOPE FOR MANY MORE !!!!!!IF U HAVE NEVER BEEN U NEED TO GO !!!!

I couldn't believe the number of fish we caught. To me the most important part was that we released all but our tourney fish. If you don't need the fish, please put em back. Let em grow up to fight another day (this does NOT apply to all lakes. Some are over populated and need to have the fish removed). Take your pics and put em back. I also believe IF YA NEED EM, EAT EM!!! I'm not against keeping fish. Jerry and I just didn't need em. We have fish.

I think we represented Arkansas and Crappie.Com very well. We fell a bit short, but we gave our best.
