Thread: Tville 6/10/16

Took a friend out to Tville last night. He had never spider rigged so he wanted to give it a try. We had a real good time dispite the couple horrendous rollers that nearly swamped my boat.

Water was pretty nasty with a brown dingy stain. I didn't remember to check water temp but it was hovering around summer pool.

We got there at 5:30 pm and fished till about 9 pm. We ended up with 21 keepers from about 40 crappie, 3 catfish (one about 30 in.), and 2 bluegills. All fish were caught on minnow rigs, but I found a great combo of jigs that worked really well after our minnows ran out. (I'm still doing some experimenting with my setup).

Had a great early summer night with a good friend.
