Default AutoChart Pro Screenshot from my laptop

I was playing in auto chart pro and loaded by Side imaging recording from fishing yesterday. I then pulled the data into my local map and found that AC gives me a nice 3D picture of the bottom where I fished and overlayed it on top of my local map. I was also able to play the SI log and watch my boat position on the local map so that I could relate where I was physically at with what the SI had been showing me. Here is a screen shot of a frozen playback at the bottom and the top is a zoomed in view of the SI image overlayed on the map, you can even see the shadows from the trees and stumps in the water and the depth contour lines showing the depth recorded.

What are the advantages and pluses of having AutoChart Pro if you have a Helix with AutoChart Live and a Zeroline card? Just curious. About to order me a Helix and thinking about getting AutoChart Pro.

The autochart live in the Helix units with the use of a zero line card allows you to create your own depth profile map but you will only be able to see it on your Helix unit. Autochart Pro allows you to pull the recorded data up on your PC and study the map, highlight depths, bottom hardness, and integrate the SI mosaics into your contour maps. Being able to sit down at my desk, review the maps, and actually play back the Si recordings a day, a week, a month, or a year later to find the structure I am looking for without having to sit looking at my Helix and playing with the multidirectional button on the Helix is what I like most about the Autochart software. The Autochart also allows me to mark waypoints on the contour map I have created of structure I want to go back and fish and also create track lines that I want to follow using my i-pilot link next time I am out trolling on that lake. The difference between Autochart and Autochart Pro is that Autochart pro allows me to view bottom hardness and the SI mosaics where Autochart doesn't. Additionally, once I have processed and integrated the data on a lake from multiple trips and cleaned it up, I can save it to a second zero line card for a buddy to use if I want and he can view the updated maps on any HB unit that can view Lake Master maps not just a Helix 9, 10 or 12. Not sure if I explained all of that very well, but hopefully it will help you decide if Autochart or Autochart Pro is something you want to mess with.

Here is a pick of the contour of one cove without the mosaic data and basically what you see with autochart live and then a pic with the mosaic data included. using my autochart software, I can zoom more or less on the mosaic data and see the trees and structure without having to sit in my boat and do it. While you can't see it from these shots, When I zoom, I can see the trees and stumps in this cove to place waypoints on them for later fishing.

Autochart Pro it is. You answered all my questions and more. I enjoys recording and then viewing on Humviewer. This sounds like a big step up. Thank you so much.

The other advantage of having Autochart Pro in addition to the Autochart Live is that you can bring the Autochart Live data into Autochart Pro and create additional map cards.

Dang yall seem to have that program figured out. I am having a hard time just getting the basics done. I have a map I can see at home now but even that was a struggle.

gzrglide/BobB Got my new Helix on the water yesterday and tried luck with Autochart Live. I turned on record under Autochart section and did the back and forth thing. Didn't see anything except for red line showing track. When I turned record off, lines got a little thicker, but nothing that resembled a map. Mind if I pick your brains on this? What am I missing/

Thanks.. I will check that max range number when I get home. Bet that is it. I was moving at 4 MPH. How far apart are your parallel tracks? I would say ~ 20 ft for me.
