We don't see many people using this [or any of the changeable colors] very often and I have real good luck during the summer months with this one so I added these to the summer bucket.
I hand poured the belly using Super Sparkle clear, then topped it off with a layer of thin smoke. The top is 10 drops of M-F Brown-Grape with some uv enhancer and black and purple .015 glitter.
Brown-Grape is one of a few changeable colors M-F makes and its a non bleeder so it fits right in with color play. What you see here in sunlight will turn a real pretty transparent brown when it hits river or lake water making it a super nice natural color. Fish love it and its become one of my go-to summer colors. What's seen here is already in the summer tackle bucket. There's a lot of reflection in the color much like what a good hi lite would add, but without any opaquing. Its almost mirror-like and the second bait up on the lower right is starting to show some of this reflection. Some of the baits are also showing just a tad bit of the transition to brown. Its a cool color, as are all the changables, but people just don't seem to use them much.
Great color, really impressive.
They look fantastic Tom I'm sure that you are not using a dual injector and playing a little bit of the stomach and shooting the purple then putting a clear coat over everything?? I do like the fact that you are using the fine black glitter it makes it more real looking the eyeballs said it right off.

Try mixing M-F brown-grape with M-F motor oil. Wow, what a color! Made lots of bass fishing lures with this color mixed strong with black flake. It is a bleeder though. Bass love it, have not made crappie lures with it...yet
Very cool - You're really liking the Super Sparkle!!LOL
You're right Fatman. I should have gotten a pound, but really it takes so little in a 4 ounce batch to ignite it that what I have will last a couple years.
Them are really sweet.
