Need some help on Tuesday
I'm taking my pontoon to Randleman on Tuesday to fish the Operation North State event. We are taking Wounded Warriors and Disabled Vets out fishing for the day.
I need a 1st mate to help handle the rods bait and land fish and generally help out. I've got gear, bait a cooler, you need to bring you drinks, life jacket if you wear one and your snacks.
We will target Crappie, if you've got a Honey Hole you'd like share that would be a real plus I promise I won't use it till the next event. I've never seen the lake.
Pm me if you can help
Thanks in advance,Grady

I'm going to the nightstalk Monday night for a short time and got to work the Tuesday shift. Still saving my vacation / sick time for knee surgery in Aug. Hope you find someone to help out.

I can certainly help if you like. I don't have a honey hole, but I'm more than willing to help other veterans. I've also never seen the lake. If you haven't found any more suited help than myself let me know and I'm good to go to assist.

DCA, Thanks for the offer, I have someone that has fished there before so I'm good.
Glad to know there are others out there willing to help a Vet.

What a day What a Day!!!! It was hot both for the weather and the fishing. I don't know how many we caught, but the bait 40 gallon tank water lever rose 6" from the fish. Lots of Crappie 1 perch a couple green carp and one 3 lb cat fish.
I had planed for 3 people fishing plus Larry my 1st mate, by noonish we ran out of bait. Luckily the office at the lake had minnows so we loaded up and headed back out. The wind blew a little but most of the time it was welcome. Water temps 80% fish in 16' of water biting at about 8' fishing brush.
I want to thank Larry as well as the other guys that offered to help. Larry did an excellent job, I couldn't ask for more . Great attitude, was joking with the Vets, defiantly helped re trying rigs, baiting hooks, taking fish off. One of that ladies couldn't believe that Larry and I only met for the 1st time that morning.
Everybody had a great time on the water caught some fish.
I can't say enough how proud I am to be a member of Crappie Dot Com. This group never stops amazing me with the wealth of information and the readiness to lend a hand when help is needed.
Thank you seems so small
Grady
