    Default Guntersville Night Report

Went out for a short trial run in the pontoon boat Sunday night. Got out around 9:45, caught one 6" crappie right of the bat. The boat waves had not settled yet and the boat was still bouncy for while and then then wind picked up for a few to bounce the boat some more (I like dead still when night fishing...) I managed a few on and off totaling about 8 between 10-12" before getting too sleepy and bored being by myself. I called it quits about 11:30, about the time everything was settling down... I did catch one big one but broke it off at the top of the water as I had not put the net in the boat and reaching the water over the rail of a pontoon is not that easy..

Sounds like the night bite with lights is beginning to start for the summer! Thanks Scott for the report.
