    Default Mt. Island Lake fishing report 5-27


    Been trolling the board for awhile, figured I'd quit being lazy and post. Put out the lights for a few hours. Got 4 nice slabs and 20 or more perch. Slabs were on the bottom on brush in 25 FOW.

    When I had a boat I used to side drift Nance cove to about 10ft deep. Then go back to the mouth and drift again.
    Picked up alot of crappie, cats and perch.
    I miss those days.
