    Default Swim with the fish...

Wifey got me to get my butt moving today and we took a day trip to go swim with the fish. Well, not really fish. We were supposed to swim with Dolphins and Manatees, but maybe not so much.

Anyway, when all was said and done, it was a good trip, not great. Water clarity was terrible. Could not see anything under the water. Did see Dolphin splashing and playing, but no Manatee. Neat to check out the area, and the natives, so to speak! The natives I speak of, are all the partiers that come out for the holiday weekend. The guys who run the tour said that during the week the place is empty, and today, especially being a holiday weekend, it was jamming. Here's a few pics.

This was the busy scene as we arrived. We actually parked right in the middle of this mess, and walked down the sand bar off to the right which is where we snorkeled around.

This was all right there on Merritt Island, by where the Cruise Boats go out. Funny thing....we missed a buddy by a couple hours. They (him, his wife and child) were on a Disney Cruise, and he seen my big Crappie.com truck going East, while he was traveling West going to the airport back home. Quite an unplanned coincidence.

On the other side you can see Cape Canaveral, the Kennedy Space Center.

Shame I didn't get to let you in on what was real close to you. There's an area near there that is full of juvenile tarpon and others. I'll clue you in after I refresh my memory on google earth. Looks like you had fun just the same.

No visibility to speak of so, nope, didn't see any fish. Just Dolphins surfacing. And a whole lot of those conchs. You know you found one when you hear yourself yell right after you step on one. Lol
