Default In the market for boat

Hello all and long time no chat. I sold my boat last weekend and am now looking to upgrade a little. I've found two deals I've hesitated on and lost out on now on Craigslist, this last one I'm really kicking myself over.

    What I am looking for:
Aluminum (I think semi v is style; Xpress/Lowe primary interests)
    17+ Feet
    90+ HP Motor
Big plus for 70# trolling motor or better

I'm looking to spend around $5000. Like I said I've missed out on two now, so if anyone knows anyone let me know please

There should be a ton of boats to wade through on CL this week and the next couple. It is tough being with out a fishing machine but just hang in there.
    Good luck.

You should be able to get into a nice alluminum rig for that price. I have bought a couple glass boats for less. Are you wanting a V bottom with the higher sides or a modified V which would be more like a tracker 175 or 185? Crestliner and G3 make nice boats also and I have seen a few in your price range. I'll keep an eye out for you as I have about 20 dealerships and boat trader types sites saved on my computer. Always looking for deals for friends.

Awesome bud I appreciate it. Ideally I'd like an Xpress, or similar style. I've missed a 2000 and 2001 now both for 5000. One 17ft 90hp other 21ft 200hp (really kicking myself for missing this one).

I just ordered a new Xprress H 20 crappie boat last Friday.

I have a 2001 G3 Pro 170 w/ 40 Yamaha, 12/24 TM and New Humminbird 7" fish finder. Just had motor tuned up & serviced in March, 3 new AGM 27 series batteries in April. Just replaced trailer bearing last year. 3 new placed and 1 extra wheel bearing and race. only thing it needs is a new cover and carpets on the trailer. Have not tried selling it yet. Have several tubes of trailer grease as new trailer does not take grease. also several pints of 2 stroke oil.

Sounds like you may have found a boat to look at. Good luck on this deal.
