Default My first Arkansas fish meal from fish I caught.report*

It's been a busy year, since I've arrived in Arkansas. There hasn't been much time for fishing in the boat, but I try to spend even just a few minutes each day fishing my pond. The other day I was fishing Senkos wacky style for green carp and caught this 28" beast. It was eating a whole bunch of the fish food my stepson feeds daily, so I decided to eat the fish! Pam prepared it by dipping the pieces in egg-white wash and then rolling them in a mixture of panko/parmesan cheese. She then baked in the oven. It fed three of us for supper and two of us lunch the next day. Not crappie, but we sure enjoyed it and look forward to when we have more time to fish from the boat!

After you catch and eat your first good platter of crappie, you'll throw them kittys back. Good going, anyway! GTT

Jeff, you and Pam keep up the good work, you two need to get in the boat and fish instead of working so much or cutting grass day and night on the ranch you bought.
