    Default Griffin is on fire...

First time out on Griffin in a long time. And it's on fire. We caught 4 fish total. We had so much action we did not know what to do. I monster Gar, a small bass, and two of the targeted species.

One was just over 12 inches, and the other 10.5. Not bad for a hot summer day. Kept us amused.

    Four years to be exact!

Gonna switch over to gar fishing, with a rope lure. I don't know how many times we hooked one, or got a gar strike, and they either don't get hooked good, or throw the bait cause of their bony mouths. Seriously, I may try it. They're at least fun, and I know griffin got at least a million of them if not more! lol

Slab you and the daughter look like you finally warmed up, I hope you put that leaky tent in the garbage. It was a pleasure seeing you at the IL camp.

That tent has been through heck. One storm a tornado was spotted across the short side of the lake, during another, a micro burst tore up the nearby boat slips/boats, and many more storms. Surprised it still can stand, but it does, and it only leaks a little! We put the dogs water bowl under the drip, and it turns into an auto waterer for the doggies. Works just fine.
