Default A pair of Sweet Sixteen

My Dad left me these two old shotguns. Both have been well used. I want two have both of them serviced and returned to everyday use as a pair of dove/field guns for my wife and me. They are very important to me, so I don't really want to trust em to anybody. Who would you use to repair/service these two fine old shotguns?Name: IMG_1857.jpg

Like Kdavid said, if they are shooting give a good cleaning and hunt. Don Fancher over at Bruce is one of very few gunsmiths still around that really know those guns good. Fine shooting gun, have a model 58 Remington in 16 and love it.

I was not planning to do anything to the exterior, but one of them has a friction ring that is so worn that it is paper thin, both springs are sprung. Just wanting a tune up on the inner workings.

Default Just like they left them

You can't beat the patina in my book. It shows where they have been and who has had their hands on them.
