Got to the Lake about 8 am. Fished by the old State Park on the Channel Edge. Bro caught the big fish for a change!!! We Put 32 Cats in the Boat. We caught about 20 in the first spot. then we moved about 100 yards to catch the rest of them. we broke 3 lines on big fish and had 4 get off at the Boat. Enough for 4 Big Meals for 5 people. We were back at the house cleaning fish at 2 PM. Bro said the sonar looked like a big Crappie School was underthe back of the boat about 6 feet off the bottom

What did you use for bait?
Good old Night-Crawlers about 8 inches off the bottom rite under the Boat. about 20 feet average deep... The wind started from the north-east then switched from the East. When the wind changed - for almost an Hour the wind was less than 1 MPH and almost no Boat Traffic on the Lake. The whole tine we were there only 4 boats came By

Did y'all do any chumming to get them to bite?
We did not chum this time. We used the Sonar to look for the Depth and Shad, Throwed out the Anchor and tied up to a Channel Marker. The spot we caught the most had a sandy bottom. One spot we tried had a Muckey Mud bottom, There we did not get a bite. The most were Blues and the rest were speckled Channels. The School of Crappie were hanging out over the sandy bottom.
