Nice ! Had a couple yesterday with eggs. Late bloomers I guess.

Beautiful day to be on the water, cloudy and cool to start the day but the sun broke through around noon and warmed up nicely. Couldn't get on a pattern early and picked up a fish here and there. A few nice fish and quite a few dinks and sliders. Finely lucked into a pattern that worked. Started to catch quality fish in 18-20 FOW. Pulled 1/16th's at .7mph. Junebug sliders and Orange/chartruese sliders seemed to be the most productive. Ended up with 19 good keepers, couldn't quite get a limit, that last fish wouldn't cooperate before the clock said it was time to go. Also caught two thugs that went 4-5 lbs. The most surprising thing was that one of the females landed was still full of eggs, it wasn't a juvenile fish either, but a big, mature female. It's been a strange year for sure.

glad to see something from greenwood, the family and I will be up there week after next for the week, hope just to see a couple fish would make my non-fish family members happy.
