Default A rainy day report !*

Hit Wylie early this a.m. Rain was holding off a bit so I gave it a shot. Lines out over 22 fow. Jigs and couple crank baits. Wasnt long and had fish on. Then another. Both dinks. After a bit one of my crank rods bent over. At least it was a keeper this time. By 9:00 the rain was starting. And then it poured. Fish kept biting. Slow but one here and there. Ended with 12 crappie ,a ton of perch , and some big ole slimers. They can make a mess. Was fun just to be out. Fish were scattered . No certain pattern was there. Just lucky to find em I guess. Not many pics. Kept camera under wraps during the monsoon. My new to me motor is purring along so far. Hope it stays that way.

Good catch John and thanks for sharing. What kind of motor did you get. Didn't know you had motor trouble. Hope this one works for you. I want to put a bigger motor on my tracker but can't pull the trigger just yet

To bad it had to rain on you. I know you would have put a hurting on them rascals. Hammett, told me you were going up river this morning when he saw you. He didn't get anything of size to brag about with the bass. Glad you got out even in the rain the fish were wet anyways. Hope the weather is better for us Friday night. Cross your eyes and fingers.

Good job in the elements! Sometimes it doesn't matter rain or shine or wind it's fun just to get out.
