    Default Chickamauga Lake report: 5/16/16*

I scouted and fished Chickamauga lake for the first time in about 6 weeks. I checked on shellcrackers and bluegills in bedding areas. Caught 3 shellies, and about 15 bluegills. Polo-dog called and so I picked him up at his dock and we had about 1.5 hours to fish for crappie until I had to leave. We found crappie on a brushpile in Wolftever creek and caught somewhere between 12-15 fish. A few keepers, but mostly just under the 10" keeper size. He caught fish on Bobby Garland jigs and I caught mine on Panfish Assassins. They hit both lures. North wind, cool temps and water temp at 75 in the creek. Wish that we had more time to fish today. Grin. Graduation for my granddaughter in Meigs Middle school this pm.
I have included a pic of the American Fish Tree that I checked on this AM first thing. It had several fish on it, but I only hooked one and it pulled off about 1/2 way back to the boat.

Good to see you got Mark out!
    Nice panfish there

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean there is no one out to get you
