And this is why I hate to mess with pictures because they get rotated and my old brain can't remember how to deal with it.

Anyway we caught 3' under a cork with Poppa Chop blue/white in about 5' of water. Only one canal had good water.

Thanks for that Bruce. Wonder why I have that trouble. I'm supposed to be good at that kind of stuff, but I'm thinking that my brain is going.

That is great john. In a few weeks I will be out there too. My son just bought a 25hp and we are refurbishing my old Alweld boat and trailer. A new axial, springs, hubs, tires, lights and hardware for the trailer. The boat needs some minor repairs seats, pedestals and carpet.

Nice job, I used to fish down there all the time before Rita took my camp. Trying to go next Saturday, used to fish east of the Superior, I would take the canal that the landing is on and go east and fish where I found good water. The fresher the better. Seems like if you found good green water hyacinth you found fish, hope to see you out there

Didn't go in there yesterday as I had tried there twice since the big rains and water was bad. Only found good water in one spot East of Superior further North. If it doesn't rain to much this week there should be more good water available.

Does that parking area ever get full on a Saturday so you can't park? Only about 7 or 8 fishing out of there yesterday.

Yes, Back in the day late 80 early 90 we used to have to park on the road, the parking lot would fill up. After Rita where we used to catch bass in the drains we caught redfish. Had a bad fish kill back there. I don't think its back all the way yet but Im eager to try again.
