Thread: Scottsboro Shellcracker REPORT on the 13th.

We tried the bream up near Comer Bridge today and they were tearing it up. I quit counting after my partner and I both caught close to a limit. We caught a mix of gills and shell crackers in 2-3 foot of water on crickets. I took some on the bass assassin rainbow trout. Looked like these fish were pretty much grouped up on one small spot. The weird thing was that for every one we caught we missed 4 or 5 bites. They would take the cork all the way under and then poof, they were gone. Unless they were just pulling it off a bed, I don't know what was going on. I never had that many misses. If we had caught all those bites....oh well, we will never know.

Anyway, the bream fishing should be getting good.
