Rule9Opens has a bass tournament there same morning. They're blast off is "safe light" , whatever that means.
Why the size restriction. If it is a tough day, a kid can't even weigh in a fish he caught that is under 11"?
-
Ed allen gave the date that was open at his place and a bunch of people voted on the 11" limit
-
I will double chk with Ed but thats what he gave us

Ranger I just got off the phone with ed allen and he says he didnt hear anythinv about bass tourn till today through the grapevine ans still yet nobody has called and informed him of it.we went with the date after asking and planning with him so im not sure how this is going to work, the poor planning is not on our behalf.

Feel free to call me with number posted above Ranger

Doug im glad you checked with Ed Allen before picking a date for the crappie tournament! I rememeber thats the first thing you said when you wanted to pick a date that you wanted to confirm Ed had a opening so it wouldnt be a conflict with anyone else. We have alot of guys planning on coming to fish from out of town like myself and alot of us have already booked cabins and campsites at Ed Allen's that weekend.

Thnx Rsmitty.i thought I covered this very profession and with a fine tooth comb.idk how some bass club or group can just roll in unanounced and NOT SAY ANYTHING TO THE OWNER OF THE PRIVATE BOAT RAMP. I did talk to Ed himself and he had just got wind of it himself
-
Ed Allens is not the only boat landing. Eagles landing is just up the lake. There is also a ramp to the lake at rockahock, although its a little tricky to launch from. Sorry to hear that a bass club would hijack this event. Maybe there membership is low and will not have much of an impact. If E.A. is going to do the weigh in for you and hasnt been notified by this other club ,maybe they will do there own weigh in.? Sorry to hear that there's a fly in the ointment. Hope it still works out.

Im going to see ed allen in a short order, he himself needs to fix this
