    Default A Warning

A couple of weeks ago, I posted that I was having some health issues and would be out of work for a while. "Health issues" is a large understatement and I've sat down three or four times to write the story, never able to put it into words. Attached is a link to the news article from UMC that does a good job telling the story so I'll let them speak for me.

On April 21, I had a major heart attack after a bike ride and nearly died. In fact, my heart did stop for 10 minutes and three bystanders kept me alive with CPR until medical personnel arrived. I'm in good shape and this was a freak thing.

None of us know when our time is up. Tell your kids and family you love them - right now and so often they say, "I know, I know..."

Find Christ and know grace! Call me if you need to talk it out.

Wow! That's quite the story, God definitely had his hand on you. There is certainly a reason for you to still be here for sure. I felt the same way after our tragedy 2 years ago.

WOW, your story ran chills down my spine, because i had a similar incident, strangely enough six years ago today, 5-12-10. mine was on a golf course. had it not been for a lot of knowledgeable folks getting be stabilized and to the ER quickly the widow maker heart attack i had would have been fatal.
