Thread: 5/11/2016 Archusa report

Well I went again this morning and added a few more to the freezer. They were in 10' - 12' water about 6' - 7' deep. My fishing partner(Wife) had to keep the Grandchildren this morning so I slipped off and went a little while. The ones that I filleted were full of shad and what eggs I seen were very dried up looking. The water temp. was 75 degrees and I am thinking that the spawn for our part of the country is pretty well over now. Spider fishing with minnows tried some artificial but they wanted meat. Hope everyone is or have had a good fishing spring so far. Summer is getting here fast
now and the 90 degree weather will be here soon. Good luck everyone. Now where did I put that umbrella. LOL
