Default Lowrance Elite 5 HDI screen ?

Can someone help me out on how to increase the screen brightness on this unit. I have looked at the manual and everything I have seen is more related to contrast on different scan modes. The unit seems to be 50% as bright as it was when I first started using it and wanted to change without a factory reset.

Thanks on what is hopefully a dumb question!

Just bump the power button until it gets to the brightness you want.

If it won't go any higher than what you have the CCFL back light is showing its age....

Thanks for the replies! Maybe it's me, but I searched the web and the manual and never saw where to hit power button to get to the setting. It is fixed !

    Cool beans .
I was using an X85 on my buddies boat this past fall , I forgot how the real old Lowrance machines are either on or off. Most units today have a bunch of display options and multiple levels of back light.
