    Default A little late. Archusa 5/6 & 5/7/2016 report


    Well I am a little late with this report but better late than never. Crappie has moved out to deeper water in my lake. Spider rig with minnows. Tried artificial but they just didn't respond good so I give them what they wanted. This is Fridays catch 23. I was fishing by myself this day.

    Saturdays catch 29. My wife and fishing partner of 40 years was fishing with me and as usual she caught the biggest crappie again a 17" crappie don't know what it weighed as I don't have fish weighing scales.

    Man those are some good fish!!!!! 17 inches is a HUGE crappie! If she was fat she may be bumping the 3 pound mark!
