I go fishing and sometimes do nothing at all that would be considered productive. You earned it, so enjoy it.
You can't catch fish from the couch.

Brett, if youre so bored you can always do what I did.....go back to work! When I retired it took me about 3 years to get everything done around the house before boredom set in. Really, about the only time I really got bored was during hot summer. It was too hot to fish and hunting season wasnt here yet. Everybody I knew and hung around with was at work and all that was on TV was soap operas. I mean....you can only fish or hunt so much....right?!?

Dont get me wrong....I loved retirement and only went back to work when my wife was caught up in a rift at work and layed off and I found we were suddenly out of insurance. That, along with the expenses of a daughter in grad school was sorta killing my checking acc't. Bummer, huh! But after all is said and done I'm glad to be back working. I guess I was a little too young to not have anything to do. My plans now is to work 2.5 more years (age 62) and really hang it up and for good this time.

I hope you can enjoy your retirement and stay busy enough to satisfy you. If not.....then you can always go back to work! he he he
