    Question Monday 5-9-16

Looking for some advice for Monday if it isn't storming. If you had to choose between Lake D'Arbonne, Black Lake at Campti, Poverty Point, Caney Lake, Lake Claiborne, Cypress Lake at Benton, Larto, or Lake St. John at Ferriday; where would you fish? All of them are within about 2 hours, with Caney being only 20 minutes and D'Arbonne about 1.5 hours.

I need a fishing fix and with all of the high water just can't make up my mind on where to go.
The Lord is good. His mercy and love endures forever.

I'm choosing Cypress for Monday. Stayed away this weekend due to the crowds. Hope to see you!

Seen some good catches from Caney last week or so. Don't have any details though.

No question about it for me.....I would choose the closest one.....you can cure the fever anywhere as long as you are on the water...I would go to Caney.....and take shiners....

Well Larto is still on the high side and a very slow rise right now. I haven't talked to anyone there either, they are all at the Crawfish Festival in Breaux Bridge.

Darbonne is still about a foot and half high and is muddy all over. Most people have not done much lately. Those who have caught any at all are fishing the 10-15 foot flats and the bite is 5 feet deep or less.......

South wind at 17mph predicted for Cypress tomorrow along with possible thunderstorms.

I'd stay away from Cypress with those conditions.
