Default Lake Chip for Humminbird 999ci HD si

OK, fellow Illinois anglers, I need some advice for the best chip for
my Humminbird. It's a core model 999ci HD si. I've looked at the
Navionics and others and don't really like the fact that you're
linked with other states that I don't fish. How about some really
solid advice for someone who fishes Rend, Shelbyville, Bloomington
Crab Orchard, Lake of Egypt and a few others, not to mention the
south end of Lk. Michigan for some salmon, once in awhile.
Thanx for the help - Dave

Thank you all for the info. I've looked at Lakemaster previously
and was unhappy with the states covered, since I don't fish
many of these. My interests lie in Illinois, Wisconsin and may
soon include Kentucky & Tennessee. Thank you anyway!

You can buy individual lakes on chart select for $10-$20
I don't drink anything stronger than Pop.
And Pop doesn't care what he drinks

Yep for what you're asking for you won't find with a single chip version. Sounds like your best bet would be to buy lakemaster card and download individual lakes at mentioned above

Thanx "burgersbe" and "birdman" that's the info I was really looking
for! Not being thoroughly familiar with the Humminbird website, I was
unaware that such a thing was possible. Now that you guys have
pointed me in the right direction, I'll look into just that for the time being.
Downloading 5 or 6 lakes info will allow me to learn more about my
fishfinder. Thanx again to all who took the time to read and respond!
