Another weekend has come and gone with little, if any crappie fishing reports. I understand conditions are less then favorable, storms and the strong relentless winds. But as stated many times before, with desire, hard work and determination crappie can be caught year round. No single technique will work year round. The very best long line trollers are only successful a few months out of the year. Skilled tightline fishermen can apply their trade most of the year if they can stay on top of the fish. Brush and dock fishermen are better suited for the late spring through fall season. Single pole jigging brush is how I caught this weekends fish. Fish are in all stages of the spawn. That puts them shallow, deep, and everywhere in between. This should make the crappie accessible to any and all techniques, yet no reports. Anyways, I will be limited time wise to fish much beginning in a few weeks. I'll be going through a work schedule change, and I'll be in the process of getting a piece of real estate cleaned up to put on the market. Hopefully a few of you will get out a catch a few and will share your results for all to see. Here's this weeks catches, and yes, they were biting quite well with limits all three days.
Thursdays box.
Fridays big fish, a buck weighing 2.20lbs.
Fridays cooler.
Saturdays cooler shot.

Ink you are the man thanks for sharing. I hope to start back next week as I haven't fished since we came back from Mississippi. I want to come down and fish Santee one day next week. Truck in shop and hope to get it back next week
Enjoyed your report Timmy and good to see those coolers full of crappie. Been down with lung infection for over a week now but will be back on the water asap. I take pictures of your catch and take them out to show the boats so they remember what crappie look like![]()
