Today was a carbon copy of last weekend, water high and muddy. Caught 6 keepers in Cleo Foster and 2 more in Stowe Creek, all on black chartreuse. Caught three big bar fish on shiners, hate the fish but love the fight. All fish in 7 to 8 fow 1 to 3 ft deep.![]()

Good mess of fish. I'd take six any day of the week. Congratulations! Water looks like chocolate milk in the pictures.
The Lord is good. His mercy and love endures forever.
That is a nice bar fish (some folks say Striper).....I know folks that will swap you 3 sacs for one Striper......some folks love them......my wife does.....
The "King" is coming
This could be the Day....
RETIRED LOUISIANA CRAPPIE HUNTER
Have you tried eating them StrykerTN ? I think that may be a white bass instead of a striper, any way, like others said, beats working any day. On the striper, fillet them, and take ALL the red meat off the skin side,,,notice,,ALL the red. The striper is a firm meat fish, not as soft as a crappie,,,I like em and the fight is good also. Thanks for the report, enjoyed the pictures
HEY,,WATCH THAT YELLOW ROD
They sure pull ya string huh??

After you get all the red out soak the fillets in a bowl of ice water for a couple hours it takes their fishy taste out. I don't freeze and eat them tho that seems to toughen the meat.
