Thread: Advice on mounting transducer on back of G3 1648 Jon boat.

    Big, big thanks to "G" and Rickie, backed the ping off one click. Moved the transducer all the way to the right side of the boat as you look at the back and mounted exactly like "G" told me dropping the back alittle and it works like a charm. I was running 27 mph as fast as the 25 Yamaha will move me in 3' to 35' of water today and depth finder read the bottom and even the HD DI was printing a great pic. Thanks again for the advice. Now maybe I can keep from loosing a lower unit or tearing a prop up when river running.
