    Default Lake Seminole report 5-3

I have only been speck fishing since November so I am still trying to learn. When I got started a buddy of mine told me specks liked stumps and trees in the water so I rode until I found a tree that had fell in the water and there also was a stump by it. I caught 3 that first day and have been hooked every since. I fished that brush pile and a couple more I found hard until December when all the rain came. Well the water level finally got back to where I could go there again but the high water had washed my trees away but I found a few fish. They were caught in 10-12 foot of water 4-6 foot deep on minnows in the Spring Creek arm. Biggest speck weighed 1.49.

    That's a good start.

    Good catch.
