I live about 10 minutes from EF and my wife said we had over 4" of rain in the rain gauge in a few hours last week. I know the lake went up 4 or 5 feet and they have pulled it back down to almost pool by today. The water didn't look too bad this morning when I was over there at the Tate Ramp but I didn't fish, I was just going for a walk. Someone told me it was muddy on the upper end but I never saw it so I honestly don't know. The dam end looked okay. A friend of mine was fishing this morning and he said it was a little slow but he hadn't been fishing long when we talked so I'm sure he figured them out as the day went on. It's not much info but its all I got.

I'm headed over there in the morning with EFslabs.

    Crappie max,
Any updates on lake conditions? Want to take my grandson on Tuesday afternoon! First time fishing for him hope to be able to put him on some crappie, and get him hooked on fishing. Pm if you want.

Water temps 64 stained. Caught a few on jigs, had 7 keepers. Is it ok to run your boat thru the sculling lanes to get to coves south side of lake?

I talked to one of the regatta guy a few weeks back. You shouldn't have any problems going through the lanes. The markers are attacked to a 7' long vertical cord and the cords are attacked to a horizontal line that runs the length of the course 7' below the water. I think he told me they are having 3 events this year and 2 of them are already done for the year. I think the next one is in July and I think he said it will run for 4 or 5 days.
Those regattas and the rowers don't bother me nearly as much as the jet ski's.
