Another fishing weekend has come and gone, with three good boxes of fish getting a boat ride. The deep water bite was non existent this week with most fish coming from around the 10 foot depth of water, with many fish caught in less than 5 feet. A good mix of both large and small fish were landed, which is a sign of a healthy lake. All fish caugh with Rooty Tooty jigs with pink and chartreuse being the best color. Trees, grass, logs, and brush were all productive structure. Thursday and Saturday I fished alone, Friday found Tommy and I tag teaming them.
