Great report!nice fish!
By "Magnolia Crappie", are you referring to a Blacknose ?? True Magnolia Crappie are only in Mississippi's small waters.
(oh, btw ... I changed the date in your post title)
All those fish were caught on hand made jigs, custom 1/24 th heads, hot pink and unpainted. They ate a curly tail better then anything else. Wouldn't hit a creature, cyclops, or minnow type bait. Swim bait caught 2, also a imatation grass shrimp caught one. We were pulling at .08 nothing would jump the speed to .09 then off tm 5 seconds till .06 and then hand feel them bite ever so lightly? Found something else guys trolling....ain't no tellin how many bites we miss with trolling bars...I had to hold one rod for long periods and felt lots of strikes ( short strikes) would drop the rod to them and they just be on never feel anything but weight. All the fish were suspended in 8'-3.8' in or on balls of bait!
