    Do yall use painted jig heads, or just plain? I use either one doesn't matter to me....

    Gary....for gills when I am not useing crickets....I like a pearl white 1/100 oz. jig head tipped with a mealworm.
    I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

    That sounds like a killer ''G''. I have some 1/80 jigs Grizzly jigs that work great with a meal worm that I bought on the way to Reelfoot Lake. They are killer also, and they come with painted heads...
