i carry so many assorted things you just cant imagine .....so i dont really need a check list .....
i just need an opportunity .....and yes the reason there is that much in my truck is because of all the times i got somewhere and went ....are you kiddin me ?
i once took a trip to hunt to another state and was depending on the kid with me to help load the truck . when we stopped for gas in the middle a no where across the state line i said hey where is the ammo box you loaded i dont see it ? he looked at me like .....uh oh .....

For decades, I have made fun of a friend who... we got into the duck blind on the river, which is an arduous task to get to... got in there all settled and he said where is my gun? He went all the way back to the dock, which was two miles of torture to get back to, then drove 30 miles back to his house to get his gun.

A month ago, I got to the lake and found I had left my rod n reels! Are you kidding me? I did have one old rod n reel onboard and went with it.

+1 on the spare for the boat trailer. Seen way too many boats left on the side of the road while the owner goes to find a spare to replace a blown tire. Although mine is attached to the trailer, I always check the tire pressure in the spare when checking tire pressure on the trailer.

My thermacell mosquito repeller. Mosquitos will run a fisherman off the water faster than anything. Insect sprays and any type of fish bait whether live bait or artificial bait just don't work together and insect spray will just ruin a fishfinder(sonar) screen.
Be safe and good luck fishing

I to have left my remote for the trolling motor at home. I recently purchased a backup remote but I always keep extra batteries for my remote and air bubbler.
I have also left my bait nets and fishing nets at home or in another boat.
