Default This Weekends Catches @ Santee

Hit the lake for three more days of crappie action this past Thursday, Friday solo, and Saturday with Tommy. We are still jigging brush, grass, and trees in water as shallow as 3 feet, and as deep as 25 feet. The bite remains good, with limit catches made on all days. Seems like most everybody is chasing those ShellCrackers, but a few of us die hard crappie anglers stay after'em. The catch consisted of a good batch of both black and white crappie, with a mix of quality and keepers in the bunch.

Nice hauls again, Ink! Got to love the nice weather fishing and view that nature provides in the spring...seems hard to take it all in during a fishing trip. I always enjoy your photos of the incindental catches...
