I miss Mosquito. Used to catch some big whites in May on that lake.

Fished this lake Sunday and Monday and did pretty good both days. 13 crappies and 10 bluegills Sunday. Monday I got 20 crappies and 2 gills. Caught all of them on jig/ nibble combo, tight lining.

Chaunc, how deep were they? Headed there tomorrow morning
Still at it but in the deep stumps now. Baby shads by Bobby garland are putting them in the boat.
Nice report, we're still getting a few down here. Fish are still mostly deeper some are suspended and some are smack down on the bottom, hard to see them on the electronics.
I've been taking the grandkids out quite a bit lately and having a good time.

Was out today. The storms we had last night chased the black crappies from my shallow spots so had to go to deeper water and fish for whites. Little tougher than expected but found them and what they were hitting and put 35 crappies and gills combined in the cooler. 8-13 ft was good today. They wanted it moving today. .4 was best speed but wind picked up after one and we got off the water. Color didn't matter much. As long as it crossed their face, they'd hit it.

Chaunc, ever have luck right under the causeway? I could tuck in near the the bridge pillars and, if I remember, the depth under the bridge is 15-19'. I only have a kayak so close areas will help put tremendously instead of starting up at the causeway launch then going the whole way down to the south launch, dodging boats.
"They call it fishing, NOT CATCHING!"
