Cedar Creek 4-24
My son in law wanted to take a trip Cedar Creek on Sunday. I have never been there before so I said sure why not. We got on the water around 7:00 and it was a little foggy and with all the trees that I could see from the boat ramp we decided just to fish them until the fog burned off. We fish them for about an hour without a strike. The water temperature was 64 so I thought the fish should still be in shallow water so we went to the back of a creek arm. We picked up a few small fish but they were few and far between. So we moved out to a little deeper water and ended up with around picking up around 20 small fish all of them was right on the bottom in 10 to 15 FOW. Around 1 I happened to find a mess of blue gill up on the bank and they wanted to play so we had to oblige them. I don't know if the crappie are mostly spawned out or the cold front and blue bird sky's just pushed them back but the fishing was slow.
