Her 1st trip in it she told me she didn't like it because the Suzuki has a rounded top and she can't rest her feet on top of it like the old Yamaha. With the lake pretty rough yesterday, she was liking it better due to the stability. She still thinks it runs too fast. I had it on plane for a couple hundred yards yesterday.

    She'll learn to love it.

Dux you think there is a chance Me and the Wife will catch the tail end of the spawn coming down the 5th? Gonna try to find a few. BTW that brown baby we got from you is all grown up and spoiled rotten. She looks just like her mama. Vertically challenged a little but she just jumps higher to make up for it! LOL

Once you get the netting technique refreshed with your wife what would you charged to teach my wife how to efficiently & timely operate a net?

It's really hard to tell. A buddy of mine had over 40 crappie shallow yesterday with ONE KEEPER!!! From the reports I got from Sunday, Vicki and I must have had a pretty good day. The post-spawn longline bite can be better than the pre-spawn some years.

Chris, I honestly think Vicki is having some wrist issues that make handling my EGO rubber net in the full-extended position painful. We will continue working on it. As long as we are catching good numbers, the chance to practice the netting will make things better. I would rather be netting her fish anyway.
