    Default Guntersville Bream/Shellcracker 4/23

Fished the Big G yesterday for about hour and a half after work. Went checking a few spots that have held fish in the past and struck out on every place but one. Ended up catching 20 in about 30 mins. All fish were on 3 ft of water and were caught on a homemade hand tied hair jig under a float.

Well, you stink! Tried finding some Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning and they were non existent at all of my spots... Were you on the lower end of the lake, typical area?

Welcome to the club Call!! we tried it hard Sat morning, started out with a bang ,with the first place we hit catching 2 large crackers and 2 big bull blue gills in a matter of minutes and then it was NADA the rest of the morning ,finally gave it up at noon with a lot of encouragement from the wind!!!! We felt like a balloon when it pops as we thought we were gonna mop up then, Boom nothing. I am having a hard time finding the grass that use to be in all my old spots especially down toward the beech creek area and its not anywhere to be found out from some of the boat houses like it use to be at Browns creek. I guess the poison boys are winning the war on the grass .They get much more the Bass boys will step in!
