Default Swan Creek and Limestone Creek gravel pit report.

Went to Swan Creek this morning...water is real low. Paddled and fished for 2 hours and found no water deep enough to hold fish. If someone knows where the deep hole is in Swan Creek, the fish should be stacked in there. Moved to the Limestone Creek gravel pits and fished a couple of more hours....beautiful day on the water but the fish did not cooperate for me today. My son did manage a few gills on crickets on the tree tops in Limestone.

I put in behind the equipment shed and went back towards the railroad tracks. I think I should have went the other way...the water was not 18" in a lot of the area. Very little water around the bushes. I may get back out there and explore more later this week. I think I will put in at the launch over next to the dam next time hopefully the water will be deeper. Right now it is about exploring new areas.

Most of Swan is 18" to 24" deep in the summer. Lots of fish in that skinny water though.
