Thread: Finally got to go out with father in law

I can't begin to tell you how many times I've planned to take this man out fishing. We'd plan, replan, and plan agin, but something always seemed to disrupt our schedules till yesterday. Your looking at the most honorable man know, he's 82 years old, sharp as a tack, an tougher than a $2,00 steak. We had around a 3 hour window to fish and made it great day to be on the water. We fished the channel just north of Browns Ford, 8-12' deep, 69 degree water. We kept 15, thru back twice as many, and even duked it out with two 30" gar. All the fish except 2 had eggs and wouldn't take a jig long lining. Truly an honor to post the picture. One more checked off my bucket list.

Good job.... take him out again 1st chance.
