Pink "Crappie Moon"
Going to get out and try a little night "Full Moon" fishing tonight and tomorrow, with the spawn and moon going on it will be interesting to see if there is any noticeable difference in catching crappie.
As long as the skies are clear, sky watchers will get a glimpse of the so-called pink moon Thursday night into Friday morning. But even if you are able to see it, the moon won't have a pinkish tint. That's just one of the nicknames for the April full moon, symbolizing the start of spring and pink-colored flowers that are blooming and spreading this time of year.

I've never had much luck during the first couple of hours of darkness. A lot of times I won't get bit until after 10:30 to 11:00.
