It is really wierd. I know it sounds stupid but I think they are spawning just at night for some reason. If you go to the shallows at night where you typically catch spawning fish you will kill them at night...at least my buddies have

Absolutely beautiful afternoon to be fishing on the Ross Barnett reservoir almost no wind the only problem is the fish weren't biting that good. Caught about 15 kept eight really nice fish biggest 2.7 pounds. Icing them down to clean in the morning will post pictures after I take them out of the ice. Still in at least 10 feet of water water temp 68.3 and no one fishing the shallows was catching very much. I don't understand it

Wow! Nice catch. Thanks for the fishing report and looking forward to seeing the fish pictures.
Be safe and good luck fishing
Nice catch. Guessing all this fresh water and current has them screwed up. One thing the next few days is you'll get a bi catch. Bream should be bedding as well and will smack a jig. Caught quite a few last year

Nights are for alligators and snakes on the REZ, This has been a strange spring for sure. Same thing is happening here.
Got behind on cleaning fish before i went to work and forgot to take pictures. Getting forgetful in my old age. Oh well, I am fishing friday afternoon, saturday and sunday so I should get more to post.
I might be there on Sunday too, still trying to figure it all out!
Just takes time Clifford. Bet my first year fishing the rez and crappie, I didn't catch bit 30-40 no 12-15 trips total
