Default Lunch Break on the mighty trinity river

folks that know me and or follow my fish stories know i hit the water rather frequently . i use the trinity river as a get away on my lunch breaks at work in down town ft worth . the west fork and the clear fork are both close to my job and the confluence of the 2 is within a ten minute walk from the front door . there are also a dozen bridges spanning the river close to my work and several drainage places that come into the rivers close by as well .
Well the rivers are up as you could imagine since it rains darn near every day lately and in one spot when the water rises the fish seem to take refuge from the torrent up in it .
all that said man were they packed and stacked up in this little drainage the other day .
the only sunfish that eluded me were the crappie and i am sure there were some there but i couldnt keep the other sunnies off my presentation long enough to ketch any .....but it was nice problem to have
and YES i need to respool that reel ....LOL
have a nice day ,hope you enjoy the photos and YES the fish were released

I would routinely take long lunch breaks! Perdy fish!
