They dont make them in the 8s or 10s, got them in 16s, one 14 and one 18. I don't mind buying new on the rods.
For the record I NEVER use a net unless I am guiding or have a tourney, but I don't just lift a big fish in the boat either, I grab the line and lift the fish in if its in the 14 inch and up range.

Been using the Pinacles and they do great but looking for something with more backbone.
Don't want any more PSTs, been down that road.
The 8' pst's I bought from ya two years ago are ready for season 3. You know how much abuse my gear takes.

I know, glad they are working out. Think I may pull a few Friday if I can get away for a few hours.

I use the hi tech fire cast poles in 8' and 12'. I have been satisfied with the way they have performed. Fairly cheap to.

Thanks Joey, I have a couple of those in the 14s and they are stout, little heavy but in an 8 they should be fine.

The 8s and 12s are not to bad to handle.

I have a few types but my 2 12 ft tight line specials are by far my favorite. Tips are sensative enough to know when there is a dink on the crank (those will mess your lines up as fast as going in circles surfing across other lines) but plenty of backbone to lift out out the bigboys.
